Thank you for your Nov. 22 editorial blasting the Senate for its ridiculous and overtly discriminatory actions in denying openly gay philanthropist James Hormel the post of U.S. ambassador to Luxembourg. If the Senate’s own bigoted actions can’t illuminate its ignorance about the undeniable existence of anti-gay discrimination in the American workplace, then I fear we’re all in serious danger.
