Winter coats, canned goods and cash collected during Share and Care Week at Jordan Elementary School in Palatine will benefit some of Palatine’s neediest families.
The charity drive collected 25 boxes of canned and boxed foods, five boxes of baby and hygiene products, loose change and several bags of mittens, gloves, hats and paper products.
Food items will be donated to the Palatine Township Food Pantry. Coats and clothing items will be sent to School District 15’s Coat Closet and the money will be sent to the Neediest Family Fund of Palatine.
