Paul A. Herrmann, 85, of Palatine died Tuesday in his home. Mr. Herrmann, was born Chicago, was a World War II Navy veteran, and the former owner of Tip Top Meat Shop, Chicago. Survivors include his wife, Edna; two sons, Paul and Ronald; a daughter, Marianne Verhalen; a stepdaughter, Diane Kinch; six grandchildren; a brother; and two great-grandsons. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in First Presbyterian Church, 302 N. Dunton St., Arlington Heights.
