Vernon Hills police charged Jill M. Beck, 18, of 10013 Meadowdale Circle, Spring Grove with retail theft. Beck, an employee of Express, 705 Hawthorn Center, was arrested after investigators at the store alleged that she stole more than $440 worth of merchandise and $10 cash from the store between Dec. 2 and Dec. 11, police said.
