Robert Valaski, 77, of Arlington Heights, a retired national services officer for the Disabled American Veterans and a consultant for the Veterans Administration, died Tuesday in his home. Mr. Valaski, who was born in Chicago, was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 208, Arlington Heights; Disabled American Veterans Post 36; Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge; and other veterans organizations. Survivors include his wife, Edythe; a daughter, Carole Ann Morvay; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, in Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, in the funeral home, followed by mass at 11 a.m. in St. Edna Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
