The articles on ancient Native American trails in the Chicago area (“Showing the way” and “Tracking the trails,” Cars, Dec. 18) gave an interesting review of the routes and their relationship to current roads.
One thoroughfare should be well known to many area residents as an old trail: For more than 50 years a Winnetka restaurant called “Indian Trail” operated just off Green Bay Road.
