Toula Colis, 91, who owned and managed Chicago and suburban restaurants, died Tuesdayin Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview. Mrs. Colis owned and operated Toula’s Snack Shop at Franklin and Madison Streets in Chicago before she moved to Glen Ellyn, said her sister, state Sen. Adeline Geo-Karis (R-Zion). In Glen Ellyn, Mrs. Colis managed and was part-owner of The Four Seasons Restaurant and also opened Alfie’s Restaurant with her son, John, Geo-Karis said. Mrs. Colis was born in Tegeas, Greece, and moved to the West Side of Chicago in 1922. In addition to her son, John, and her sister, Mrs. Colis is survived by a son, Peter; a daughter, Faye Zettas; a brother; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 601 S. Central Ave., Chicago.
