Cyrel Dulsky Logan, 80, a lifelong resident of Chicago, died Friday in her home. Mrs. Logan was a labor activist. In the late 1930s, she worked on the staff of the Steelworkers Organizing Committee in Chicago and participated in the International Harvester strike. After graduating from Roosevelt University in 1953, she became a teacher with the Chicago Public Schools and was an early member of the Teachers Action Committee. After her retirement, Mrs. Logan continued to be involved in peace and social justice issues such as the drive to reduce military spending. Survivors include a daughter, Nada Logan Stotland; two sons, Peter Jay and Jonothan Louis; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Newberry Library, 60 W. Walton St., Chicago.
