Anna H. Was, 74, of Itasca died Thursday in Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. She was born in Chicago but had lived in Itasca for 40 years. Mrs. Was worked at the Medinah public schools as an aide for about 15 years. Mrs. Survivors include her two sons, Allen and Craig; a daughter, Bonni Samuel; a sister; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Rd., Itasca. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd., Glendale Heights.
