Katherine M. Freyer, 89, died Monday at Lexington Care Nursing Home in Chicago Ridge. A homemaker, Mrs. Freyer raised five children who dedicated themselves to city service. Three of her sons were Chicago police officers and one was a Chicago firefighter. Her daughter works as a school teacher in the Chicago public school system. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth, Robert and John; a daughter, Candace Naddy; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Lawn Funeral Home, 7732 W. 159th St., Orland Park. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Germaine Catholic Church, 4240 W. 98th St., Oak Lawn.
