Louis Gargo, 72, of Hinckley, died Wednesday in Countryside Care Centre, a nursing facility in Aurora. Mr. Gargo worked at Burlington Northern as a railroad conductor for 40 years until his retirement in 1988. He served in the Navy and was a member of VFW Post 7452, AMVETS, Burlington Northern Veterans, Eagles, Independent Order of Oddfellows, and Ben Hur No. 870. Survivors include his wife, Margery; three sons, Steven, Jerry and Terry; a daughter, Gina; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway St., Aurora.
