S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. of Racine, Wis., won U.S. antitrust approval for its $1.1 billion purchase of Dow Chemical Co.’s consumer-products business as long as it completes its planned sale of Spray ‘n Wash and two other popular household products to Reckitt & Colman PLC. In an agreement with the Federal Trade Commission, S.C. Johnson agreed to sell assets related to Spray ‘n Wash, Spray ‘n Starch, and Glass Plus products to the U.S. subsidiary of London-based Reckitt & Colman for $160 million. Reckitt and S.C. Johnson announced this agreement in December.
