Bernice Chwalisz, 94, of Palatine, died Saturday in ManorCare Nursing Home in Rolling Meadows. Mrs. Chwalisz, a homemaker, formerly lived in Barrington and Glenview. She was born in Green Bay and grew up in Wisconsin. Survivors include a daughter, Marie Finnegan; five granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 465 N. Benton St., Palatine.
