I think the best way for Chicago and the Cubs to honor Harry Caray and say goodbye to him is for the Opening Day game to be broadcast without any TV announcers. Have the telecast set up so the cheers and jeers can still be heard, but have no announcers for this one game as a silent tribute to Harry.
I cannot thank Harry enough for enriching my love of baseball. I think a silent tribute is a fitting reminder that there is no one who can ever replace the man. He is an American legend.
