Hal Gold had it right in his recent letter (Tribune, March 22)–fighting has nothing to do with good hockey. Good players seldom fight. Players without talent fight. That becomes their talent, but that is not a talent I want to pay $75 to see. Watching large men teetering on skates grab each other and swing wildly comes right behind roller derby as a great spectator sport.
