Henry Rusch, 76, of Elmhurst, a plant superintendent of Custom Food Products Inc., died Wednesday in Savannah, Ga., after a long illness. Mr. Rusch, who was born in Maywood, graduated from Proviso High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Rusch worked for 42 years as a superintendent of Custom Food Products, a food-processing company. For 20 years, Mr. Rusch also coached a high school boys basketball team at Epiphany Lutheran Church, which competed in the Chicagoland Church Basketball League. “He did it because he really enjoyed the children and the sport,” said his daughter, Dianne White. Mr. Rusch was also a golf player and Chicago Cubs fan. Survivors also include his wife, Marilyn; a son, Gary; a brother, David; and eight grandchildren. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 314 W. Vallette St., Elmhurst.
