I want to tell you about what I saw recently on WMAQ-Ch. 5.
My husband and I were watching a program on men’s gymnastics. One young man was doing his routine on the pommel horse. He was having a tremendous amount of trouble during his routine. He had fallen a number of times. He was visibly shaken.
This young man deliberately removed himself to a place behind a big heavy-looking curtain to be alone. Yet the cameraperson followed (stalked) him to get him on camera and his reaction to his performance first.
I’m not sure when I’ll watch Channel 5 again, but it won’t be too soon.
