Cornelius O’Grady, 81, died Wednesday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Born in Chicago, Mr. O’Grady worked for many years as a dispatcher at Argonne National Laboratory. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of St. Mary of Gostyn Church, the Argonne Pioneers and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Therese; daughters Kathleen Magill, Patricia Burnside and Maureen Fear; and six grandchildren. A service will begin at noon Saturday in Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., followed by a 12:30 p.m. service in St. Mary of Gostyn, 4809 Douglas Rd.
