I was quite surprised to read the April 30 letter “Tale of 2 Daves” in which the writer said he has never laughed at anything written by Dave Barry. Surely the opinion of one grumpy reader is not as important as those of us who think Barry’s column is one of the Trib’s greatest assets. He is consistently funny, insightful and worthwhile. I nearly died laughing over his “weasel poop coffee” column (Magazine, Nov. 23, 1997).
