The May 26 murder during an armed robbery of Walgreens store manager Keith Rowe was as outrageous as it was predictable (“Suspect in 4 holdups sought in a 5th that’s fatal,” Page 1, May 27).
Once again, the suspect is a violent felon who was turned loose after serving a fraction of his sentence. And Mr. Rowe, disarmed by gun control and deserted by the criminal law system, is dead. How many more of us will follow before we take society back? Or have we lost the courage to defend our own lives?
