Kathleen Johnson, 88, of Wheaton died Sunday in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. A native of Evanston, Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker. She also was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Wheaton since 1931 and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Wheaton VFW. Survivors include her husband, Frank; two sons, Robert Schmitz and Donald Schmitz; a daughter, Mary Vines; a sister; a brother; 10 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Catholic Church, 315 W. Illinois St., Wheaton.
