Glendale Heights trustees have approved construction of an 80-unit town home subdivision in the center of the village.
By approving a planned unit development for the Westfield Pines subdivision, trustees annexed the 10 acres in the central part of town.
Westfield Development Corp., which is building the project, had to add a parkway along the complex’s main street and a traffic signal at Dale and Bloomingdale Roads.
