Robert D. Wellen, 62, a Woodridge resident for 28 years, died Sunday in Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Born in Roseau, Minn., Mr. Wellen worked in office management. He also served in the Army and was an active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Terrence, David and Brian; a daughter, Brenda Albarello; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2600 W. 75th St., Woodridge.
