Anna M. Runde, 80, of Palatine, formerly of Des Plaines, died Sunday of leukemia in Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Runde was a homemaker and an active member of the United Church of Christ Women’s Guild in Des Plaines and the United Congregational Church Bible study group in Rolling Meadows. Survivors include two daughters, Marianne Bucio and Elizabeth Kirby; a son, Thomas; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
