Eva Daisy Martin, 85, a longtime resident of Wheaton, died July 30 in Northwood Manor, a nursing facility in Durham, N.C. Born in Utica, Ohio, Mrs. Martin moved to Wheaton in 1947. She worked in the Wheaton College post office until she retired to Georgia in 1973. She was a member of the College Church, serving as a deaconess, a member of chancel choir and missionary circle and a senior high school girls Sunday school teacher. Survivors include a son, Rev. Paul Martin; two daughters, Anne and Beth Neece; and four grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Chapel Hill Gardens West, 17 W 201 Roosevelt Rd., Oakbrook Terrace.
