Between $10,000 and $20,000 in household items and jewelry, including sterling bowls and platters and a diamond pin, have been reported stolen from a house in the 1600 block of Huntington Lane, a Highland Park police report said. According to the report, the home underwent an extensive renovation beginning October 1997, and since then the homeowner had noticed several items missing over the course of the project, but did not report them to the police because she thought they had been misplaced during construction.
