Harriet E. Harwood, 75, of West Chicago, a homemaker and an active community member, died Wednesday in her home. Mrs. Harwood was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield. She also was a volunteer at DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton and Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Survivors include her husband, Richard; a daughter, Sue Ann; a son, Richard; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John the Baptist Church, 0 S 233 Church St., Winfield.
