The Chicago Board of Trade and Eurex, a joint electronic exchange of German and Swiss futures markets, agreed to develop a computer trading network that they aim to make the standard for the futures industry. The agreement follows a letter of intent signed in March to link their markets through a computerized network that could offer U.S. Treasury futures from Chicago and German government bond futures from Frankfurt.
