School districts need to abandon the name of teachers and just call their new employees administrators. In the history of school employee negotiations, parents and taxpayers would be hard-pressed to remember school administrators going on strike. It is that simple. Every teacher working in the public school system would now be an administrator. All these new administrators would be treated as if they were school superintendents.

School administration would greatly change for the benefit of the taxpayer. There would be no need to have past administrators working the total summer, like the Maytag repairman, looking for things to do. Money would be saved and special perks would be eliminated. School board members would avoid the problem of having to explain to the taxpayers why their teachers are the worst paid and their administrators are the best paid in the surrounding area. This would also eliminate the stress of hiding money in secret committees as extra pay for administrators.
