Virginia M. Doherty, 73, of McHenry died Monday in her home. Mrs. Doherty was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Richard; a son, Richard Jr.; two daughters, Shirley Roach and Terri Doherty; a sister, Beatrice Meade; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Peter M. Justen Colonial Funeral Home, 3807 W. Elm St., McHenry. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3500 W. Washington St., McHenry.
