The Romeoville Planning and Zoning Commission will make its decision on the controversial proposed expansion of the Lakewood Falls residential subdivision during a special meeting Tuesday. The commission put off its final decision on the project in order to consider new information presented during a public hearing last week.
The commission must decide whether or not to recommend annexation of 180 acres for the development. They must also decide on a recommendation by Romeoville Planning and Development Director Gregg Anderson to eliminate blanket R-7 high density zoning for the entire project in favor of combination zoning for its three phases.
