He had been employed for the last four years as a licensed customs house broker for World Commerce Services, a freight forwarder in Wood Dale. Mr. Parker worked in the freight industry for more than 30 years. According to his daughter, Jennifer Islas, he will be remembered as a devoted family man and an avid Chicago sports fan. “One of the most remarkable things about him was his devotion to the Chicago sports teams, especially the Chicago Cubs,” she said.
