I know this comes way after the fact but I couldn’t help but wonder: Why would you consult a scientist when lunar (or looney) occurrences are more matters for the mystics and dreamers (Tempo, Feb. 23)? If it was because you only had a short area for the column you did the right thing. Scientists simply have no feel for it, really. Am I right? I certainly am not “looney” for thinking there’s more to it than you indicate.
Also, pass this along to your comics people–I am a regular reader of the comics and is “Bound and Gagged” supposed to represent how I feel when I read it? I’ve laughed maybe once since it started. A poor performance. Pull it anytime.
