Your Irish eyes will be smiling during Old St. Patrick’s Church’s Celtic arts celebration, “Siamsa na nGael.” Irish composer Shaun Davey’s orchestral suite, “The Pilgrim,” receives its North American premiere, with “Angela’s Ashes” author Frank McCourt taking the bard’s role, reciting ancient Celtic poems accompanied by Irish harp. 8 p.m. Wednesday at Symphony Center, 220 S. Michigan Ave. Proceeds benefit the restoration of Old St. Patrick’s Church. Tickets are $20-$50 at the Symphony Center box office, or call 312-294-3000.
