Bernie Linicome’s column on the Chelios trade (Tribune, March 25) inappropriately compares Detroit to the “nearest landfill” and “the Balkans.” I am a Detroiter and agree Chicago has much to offer residents and visitors.
Detroit also has a lot to offer and has attractions Chicago does not offer. One that comes to mind is a great hockey team.
