I am a Serb-American and a high school student. I also am a citizen of the United States. I think NATO made a very big mistake going into Yugoslavia. First of all it did this illegally. Another reason why NATO is wrong is that it is bombing a sovereign country. Bombs have hit many residential areas.
Now NATO has no way out of these airstrikes. It did not accomplish anything. Now if NATO keeps on bombing, who knows what will happen. If ground troops do go in, Yugoslavian ally troops will also (including Russia). It will end up as a war in the Balkans, maybe even World War III. Let’s hope not.
