Thirty-thousand Cub fans braved the heat and humidity on July 30 to witness another blown lead, as the Cubs fell to the Mets. Meanwhile, Tribune executives sit in their air-conditioned Michigan Avenue offices chuckling.

Why? Because they know that they are virtually guaranteed that these so-called loyal fans are foolish enough to endorse the inept management of this team by repeatedly filling Wrigley Field to watch this pathetic excuse for a professional sports team.
