Two 14-year-old boys were referred to juvenile authorities on theft charges Monday after a security guard at the Kohl’s department store, 3000 Spring Hill Mall Drive, said the boys tried to leave the store with four pairs of jeans worth about $248, police said. Each boy allegedly paid for a pair of jeans each but allegedly tried to leave with three pairs each, they said.
