Visually Impaired Awareness Day, an exhibit fair for blind and visually impaired people, their families, friends and other interested DuPage residents, is an opportunity to learn about resources and new advances for the visually impaired.
Information tables will be set up, and exhibitors will discuss services and demonstrate equipment.
People who are blind or visually impaired will find information about support groups, recreation, reading services, adaptive devices, independent-living aids and transportation.
The event is sponsored by the Visually Impaired Committee of the DuPage Center for Independent Living.
