A barbecue Sunday in South Barrington will help round up funds for the Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble.
The Rock ‘N’ Roll Barbecue, a family event, will feature silent and live auctions, a raffle and the music of Johnny Star and the Meteors. The event includes a buffet of barbecued ribs, fried chicken, mini-burgers, salads, corn on the cob, a sundae bar and brownies. A variety of activities for children are planned.
Tickets cost $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and $15 for children.
Proceeds will benefit the ensemble’s full-length performances of “The Nutcracker” in December at Barrington High School.
