Regarding Melissa Isaacson’s column concerning zero-tolerance school policies, it’s quite obvious that Ms. Isaacson does not have any teenage children. If she had, she would have never written an article underminding a school’s policy concerning this matter. This is exactly the type of policy that children need to see enforced. As a sports writer, Ms. Isaacson has seen so many athletes excused for inappropriate and illegal behavior that she now accepts that as the norm.
