Matthew J. Rijkse, 20, whose last known address was on the 100 block of Brittany Drive, Streamwood, was arrested Friday afternoon after he allegedly drove away in a 1998 Ford Escort wagon while the vehicle’s owner was inside the Clark gas station at 7401 Jensen Blvd. Rijkse was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license and obstructing a peace officer, police said. He was also wanted on warrants for various offenses in Elgin, Chicago and DuPage County. Robin M. Yagac, 20, of the 7400 block of Flower Court, Hanover Park, who was riding in the car with Rijkse, also was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, police said. Both face a Dec. 13 court date.
