John Keller, 95, of Barrington, died there Monday in Governors Park nursing home. Mr. Keller, who was born in Romania, retired in 1970 after five years as a custom tailor of men’s clothing at Hart, Schaffner & Marx in Chicago. Before that, Mr. Keller was a tailor in Europe for 20 years. “He was a devoted husband and father,” said his daughter Teresa Stoika. “He enjoyed living in the United States.” Other survivors include another daughter, Margaret Rauscher; three sisters, Margaret Decker, Suzanna Klein and Theresia Weber; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St., Barrington. A service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
