Bernie Lincicome’s Friday column on the shenanigans being perpetuated by the Blackhawks is the finest piece of sports journalism I’ve read in I can’t remember how long.

It’s refreshing, being a native Chicagoan going to law school in Miami, to be able to read such a masterful display of wit, sarcasm and dead-on observations of Chicago sports. The column perfectly encapsulated the thoughts and frustrations of a disheartened Hawks (not to mention Chicago sports) fan.

And it sure beat studying the Model Penal Code during final-exam week.
