A 17-year-old Winthrop Harbor boy told police he was robbed at gunpoint Dec. 2 while using a pay telephone in the 2100 block of Lewis Avenue. The youth told police he was approached by a man who asked to use his prepaid telephone card. When the youth gave the man his card, the man pulled out a handgun and demanded that the boy turn over everything he had, police said.
