Sales are under way and a model is open for viewing at Academy Woods in Lake Forest, a community of 18 semi-custom homes adjacent to the grounds of Lake Forest Academy.
The five floor plans offer ranch and two-story layouts ranging from about 2,100 to 2,860 square feet. They are based-priced from $549,000 to $599,000 and include two to four bedrooms and 2 1/2 to 3 baths.

– Phase two sales are under way at Renaux Manor town homes, a community of 238 town homes on 160 acres in west suburban St. Charles.
The second phase of 50 home sites are slated for occupancy in the third quarter of 2000.
The four floor plans at Renaux Manor are base-priced from $159,900 to $174,900 and range from 1,685 to 1,913 square feet. They include two bedrooms with a loft or den, or three bedrooms with loft, 2 1/2 baths and attached two-car garages.
Town homes also have central air conditioning, walk-in closets, GE appliance packages, great rooms and bonus rooms as well as patios or decks in some plans.

– Sales are under way at Park 1500 Lofts, a 175-loft development at 1500 W. Monroe St. on Chicago’s Near West Side. The project is a joint venture of New West Realty Inc. and Metro Developers LLC.
Park 1500 has two decorated models and a 4,000-square-foot marketing center. The models include the 900-square-foot Unit 226 with one bedroom, a bonus room and one bath, base-priced from $148,900.
The second model, Plan 225, is a two-bedroom, two-bath corner residence with about 1,500 square feet. It is base-priced from $272,500. This unit also has four window bays, measuring 13 to 14 feet long and 12 feet high.

– Royal Ridge, a neighborhood of 77 single-family homes and 74 attached villas in Northbrook, is approaching closeout of its attached villas. The gated community is the main neighborhood in the 770-acre, master-planned community owned by the Society of the Divine Word and being developed around Techny Towers.
Two Newport plans–one of which is a model–and three Hampton designs remain available. The Newport homes are both priced at $405,000, while the three Hamptons are priced from $519,000 to $529,000. The Carlyle single-family model is also for sale.
