Gary Bauer showed what a class act he was in his debating and in his subsequent speech as he dropped out of the race for president. I couldn’t help but notice how this well-spoken candidate and son of a janitor, with meager sums of campaign money, is forced to give up his platform to the front-runner and golden child George W. Bush, a man who couldn’t debate his way out of a wet paper bag. How shameful is it to weigh a man’s electability on how deep his pockets extend.
