The State Building Commission on Wednesday approved $8.44 million in improvements to State Fair Park in West Allis for the first phase of a four-year renovation, Gov. Tommy Thompson said.
The improvements include building a new Millennium Entrance Gate, renovating the dairy cattle barn and upgrading the “Milwaukee Mile” race track.
