Marc Savard’s second goal, a deflection 35 seconds into overtime, gave Calgary a victory over Edmonton.
Bill Lindsay also scored for Calgary, which won its NHL-record 11th overtime game.
The Flames also won on consecutive nights for the first time this season–they beat the Oilers 4-2 Friday night.
Jarome Iginla assisted on both of Savard’s goals to extend his points streak to 10 games.
Ryan Smyth and Todd Marchant scored for Edmonton.
Marchant tied it 2-2 with 1 minute left in regulation, but Savard got the game-winner in overtime as he deflected Iginla’s shot past goalie Tommy Salo.
