Harold D. Heise, 69, a draftsman who began his career with Western Electric and retired 37 years later as an equipment engineer with AT&T, died Friday, Feb. 25, in his Naperville home. Mr. Heise was a fourth-generation Naperville resident. A member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, he served in the Navy during the Korean War, assigned to the USS Leyte. Mr. Heise was a member of the American Legion and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and Wesley United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, LaDonna Ferreri; two sons, Jeffrey and Roy; two brothers, Lee and Donald; a sister, Carol Stewart; four grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Wesley United Methodist Church, 21 E. Franklin St., Naperville.
